Bασισμένο στα αγαπημένα κλασικά βιβλία του Dr. Seuss Ο Grinch εξιστορεί την ιστορία ενός κυνικού τύπου που πηγαίνει σε μια αποστολή και μόνο αποστολή: για να κλέψει τα Χριστούγεννα! Αστείος, ενθουσιώδης και εντυπωσιακός, είναι μια παγκόσμια ιστορία για το πνεύμα των Χριστουγέννων και την αδάμαστη δύναμη της αισιοδοξίας.
Την καρδία του αλλάζει ένα νεαρό κοριτσιού που είναι γεμάτη από την γενναιοδωρία των Χριστουγέννων. Ο υποψήφιος με βραβείο Όσκαρ BenedictCumberbatch δίνει τη φωνή του στον διαβόητο Grinch, ο οποίος ζει μια μοναχική ζωή μέσα σε μια σπηλιά στο Mt. Κρομπέτα με μόνο πιστό φίλο το σκυλί του, Max.
Με μια σπηλιά εφοδιασμένη με εφευρέσεις και αντικείμενα για τις καθημερινές του ανάγκες του, ο Grinch βλέπει μόνο τους γείτονές του στο Whoville όταν δεν έχει πλέον καθόλου τρόφιμα. Κάθε χρόνο τα Χριστούγεννα διαταράσσουν την ήρεμη μοναξιά του με όλο και μεγαλύτερους, φωτεινότερους και πιο δυνατούς εορτασμούς. Storyline
