DIMA BILAN SPECIAL GUEST STAR AT THE JUNIOR EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2008!!! 3/10/2008

Dima Bilan, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, will be the special guest star of the 6th Junior Eurovision Song Contest on the 22nd November in Lemesos!

Not only will Dima be our special guest star, but also at the Friday night dress rehearsal, the best-selling Russian artist will meet all this year’s participants of Junior Eurovision to offer them some last-minute advice from his recent experience as a Eurovision winner. During the live final on the Saturday night, Dima will also perform his winning song ‘Believe’ on the stage of.the Spyros Kyrianou Arena.

Since launching his first single back in 2003, Dima Bilan has emerged as one of Russia’s most popular and widely-acclaimed talents. Dima is no stranger to Eurovision. He represented Russia in Athens in May 2006 and came second with the hit single ‘Never Let You Go’. The song made the top 10 in both Greece and Cyprus and was released in many European countries.

At the annual MTV Russia Music Awards 2007, Dima Bilan won three of the most prestigious awards: Best Performer, Best Song and, for the third time in three years, Best Artist. At the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich Dima also won the RMA award for Best Artist.
